Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an internet connection to use the app?

Core features (word analysis, dictionary, verb concordance) work completely offline. Internet is only needed for loading translations from the Quran.com API.

Why are some translations not loading?

Translations are fetched from the Quran.com API and require an internet connection. Please check your network connection and try again.

How do I change the font size?

Go to Settings (gear icon in the tab bar) and adjust the Arabic or English font size sliders to your preference.

Can I bookmark a verse?

Yes! When viewing a verse in the Translation view, tap the bookmark icon next to the Arabic text. You can also bookmark roots from the Dictionary and verbs from the Verb Concordance.

How do I find a specific root?

In the Dictionary tab, use the letter navigation bar at the top to select the first letter of the root, then choose from the dropdown menu.

How do I navigate to a specific verse?

Use the search bar and type a verse reference like "2:255" to go directly to that verse. You can also search for surah names or words.
